A 16-year-old driver in Melbourne has been charged after he reportedly crashed with two cars while driving a stolen vehicle.

A 16-year-old boy in Melbourne has been charged with three counts of aggravated burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, reckless conduct endangering serious injury, and other driving-related offences after allegedly driving erratically in Carrum, Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs.

The boy crashed into two cars at the intersection of Nepean Highway and Maury Rd in Chelsea before fleeing the scene.

He was chased down by an off-duty officer and police officers, who arrested him near the crash.
The boy has been remanded to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
