Australian motocross legend Jayden “Jayo” Archer dies while training

Jayden “Jayo” Archer, a freestyle motocross athlete and community figure, passed away while practising a trick in Melbourne.

Archer was the first rider to land a triple backflip during a competition and died during a training session.

Nitro Circus, the action sports company he was part of, described Archer as an epitome of passion, hard work, and determination.

The Victorian landed the record-making triple backflip during the Nitro World Games in Brisbane in 2022.

Archer dedicated his life to this feat, despite facing numerous obstacles and knockouts.

He thanked his friends and family, including his girlfriend Beth, and proposed to her.

The couple were set to tie the knot later this year.

Nitro Circus expressed their love and support for Jayo and his family.
